Poets and Poetry

Poets may seem dramatic, to be dreamers, and utterly hopeless. That may be true of some but the thing is we have a need to express ourselves in rhyme, rhythm and prose. You see, poetry is among the many love languages. However, it is not restrained to just love. It speaks of pain, sorrow, loss, redemption, joys and countless other things. It is food for the soul. It is what keeps poets alive. Without poetry  we would starve, shriveling into nonexistence.
